[ 01 ] How it works

A change, end to end

  1. 01

    Somebody asks on the passage

An inline comment on the sentence that looks wrong, with an @mention for the person who knows.

  2. 02

    The author updates the page

They reply, fix the text and resolve the thread.

  3. 03

    Publishing tells the watchers

People following the page or its space are told it changed, in the app (and by email if they choose).

  4. 04

    The history keeps both

The old version stays in the history, ready to restore. An approver sees the change side by side before it goes out.

[ 02 ] Discussion

Comments that stay with the text

  • Page and inline comments

On the whole page, or anchored to a passage, with replies.

  • Mentions and resolve

Name somebody to bring them in; resolve a thread when it is done.

  • Who else is editing

The editor shows the colleagues who have the page open for editing right now.

  • No silent overwrites

If somebody saved while you were editing, your save is refused with a message to reload, not merged blindly.

[ 03 ] History

Nothing published is ever lost

  • The newest 50 versions

Each with who saved or published it and when; every version stays while a legal hold is on.

  • Side by side for approvers

In spaces that need approval, the reviewer sees what changed before it is published.

  • Restore

Bring an earlier version back as the current one; the restore is itself recorded.

  • Restore in one step

Bring back any kept version as the page's draft; publishing it makes it current again.

[ 04 ] Notifications

Told about what matters to you

  • Watch a page or a space

Follow what you care about and hear when it is published or changed.

  • By email and in the app

Each person chooses, kind by kind: mentions, comments, reviews due, read requests, approvals.

  • Notify everyonePremium

Send a published page to the whole team by email and in the app, for the change nobody may miss.

  • Recent activity

What changed across the spaces you can open, newest first.

[ 06 ] Questions

Asked before buying

Is there real-time co-editing?
No. Presence shows who else is editing, and overwrite protection stops one person's save erasing another's. Live co-editing in one document is not part of the product today.
How long is history kept?
The newest 50 versions of each page. Older ones are removed as new ones are published. While a space is under legal hold, every version is kept.
