No. Varynt Knowledge is its own product, bought on its own. If you also use Varynt Work or Desk, it connects to them: linked tasks and leads show their live status inside a page, a Work task lists the Knowledge pages about it, and one Varynt sign-in opens all of them.

Not live, in the same editor: there is no real-time co-editing today. You see who else is editing a page, and a save on top of somebody else's newer change is refused rather than overwriting it. Every published version is kept in the page history, so you can compare versions and restore an earlier one.

No, none of those exist today. Knowledge runs in the browser, on phones too.

Yes, on Enterprise: single sign-on through your own identity provider over SAML or OIDC (for example Okta, Microsoft Entra ID or Google Workspace), once your email domains are proven by a DNS record. Enterprise also has SCIM provisioning, so people and groups your directory adds or removes are added or removed here, and across every Varynt product.

Not as apps today. It connects to Varynt Work and Varynt Desk. Google Workspace or Microsoft Entra ID can be your sign-in provider on Enterprise (single sign-on, above).

Not today. Varynt Work and Desk have an assistant (MCP) connection; Knowledge does not yet.

By default, everyone on your staff. On Premium and Enterprise you can restrict a space, or a single page and the pages under it, to named people and groups, and that applies to workspace admins too: an admin who is not named cannot read it.

They cannot sign in to it: Knowledge is for your staff, and the client-portal contacts of a Varynt Work workspace cannot open it. If an admin switches public links on, a single published page can be shared with anyone who has its link, and revoked at any time.

No. Search covers every space and page you can open and nothing else, and drafts are never shown.

Admin and security actions are recorded on every plan. On Enterprise, the audit log screen filters them, exports them as CSV and lets you choose how long they are kept, from 90 days to 7 years.

Markdown files import as pages on every plan. On Premium and Enterprise, Confluence import brings a whole space across from Confluence's HTML export. Both show a preview first and import as drafts. Moving from Confluence.

Yes. Any page exports to Word or Markdown whenever you like (an admin can limit page downloads to admins), and a workspace admin can download every page in one ZIP.

It goes to the trash and can be restored for 30 days. After that it is gone for good, unless a legal hold covers it.

They are kept in Knowledge's own storage, separate from the other Varynt products. Every download passes through the service, which re-checks that you can still open the page.

No. Every workspace is set up with you after a conversation: talk to us, agree a plan and how many people, and we open the workspace and invite your first owner.

Everyone on your staff who holds a Knowledge seat. Client-portal contacts of a Varynt Work workspace cannot open Knowledge, so they never count.
